A: We currently provide services in Dakota County and Southern Hennepin Counties

A: We provide business class internet and telephone services

Q: Can I keep my telephone number?

A: Yes, CitiLink will port your current number to our services and make arrangements to disconnect any remaining service from your current provider.

Q: How much bandwidth can you provide?

A: We can provide anything from 3Mbps) to 20Mbps

Q:  Can I add additional bandwidth to a CitiLink connection?

A: CitiLink is scalable bandwidth – you can easily upgrade your connection with us by a phone call; we can usually “turn you up” in a matter of minutes. For example, if you have a 3.0 connection with us, you can turn it up to 6.0 very easily.

Q: Is customer service available 24/7/365?

A: Absolutely. Our customer service team is always available to help you and monitor your connection.

Q: Is a CitiLink connection secure?

A: Yes. A CitiLink connection is by its design incredibly secure and redundant.

Q: Is CitiLink affected by weather?

A: No. Because of the frequencies we use, weather rarely has any affect on our service.

Q: What frequencies do you use?

A: We use the  3.65 WiMAX Licensed spectrum.

Q: Will CitiLink service interfere with other wireless signals?

A: No. Each customer is tuned to a specific wireless frequency, which does not interfere with cell phones, wireless networks, radio signals, etc.

Q: How quickly can you install my service?

A: For links between  3.0Mbpsand 10Mbps, we usually install in 3-5 business days –in some cases as early as the same day! If you are interested in higher bandwidth, please contact us for an installation estimate.

Q: Is CitiLink satellite?

A: No. We have points of presence on tall buildings and antennae in our service areas that broadcast using WiMax radio signal to our customers.

Q: Are there any loop charges or taxes?

A: No – that’s one of the great benefits of a CitiLink connection! Because we are not beholden to the phone company, we are able to save you money on local loop charges and taxes.

Q: Do you charge extra for static IP Addresses?

A: CitiLink includes 1 Static IP Addresses with our service.  Additional IP’s available upon request at an additional charge.

Q: Does CitiLink require a service contract?

A: Yes. We have 12, 24, and 36 month options.

Q: Can you provide usage reports?

A: Yes. Our customer service team can easily provide you usage reports upon request.

Q: Is CitiLink provide residential service?

A: CitiLink is a business services provider. Our service is available for home office use; if you need business-class service at your place of residence, please contact our sales team.
